Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has provided the latest injury update on Christian Pulisic ahead of his side’s Carabao Cup clash with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
Pulisic didn’t feature in Chelsea’s Premier League 3-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The American international had tested positive for COVID-19, and then got injured.
Providing the latest update on Pulisic, Tuchel was quoted by Football London as saying: “The game against Aston Villa is maybe too close, I hope I am wrong.
“This is my impression with him not in training so far. Let’s see tomorrow.
“Maybe he had a good progression today. Maybe it is possible. It would be super nice to have him, but it is doubtful.”
