Ainsley Maitland-Niles has taken to Instagram to make a public plea to Arsenal to let him leave the club amid reports they have rejected Everton’s bid to sign him on loan for the season.
Everton are interested in bringing the 24-year-old in at Goodison Park but Arsenal snubbed interest from The Toffees, triggering Maitland-Niles to take matters into his own hands.
‘All I wanna do is go where I’m wanted and where I’m gonna play @arsenal’,’ he wrote alongside three crying emojis.
Maitland-Niles came on as a substitute in Arsenal’s 5-0 thrashing by Manchester City at the weekend and started the 6-0 win against West Brom in the League Cup last week.
But he is set to join Benitez’s Everton revolution, with the Spaniard hoping to sign him on loan for the season with an option to buy.
